A new decade has started and already we are staring down the barrel of a new harvest season. The end of last year was a busy time at Laragon. The boys were working hard in hot, windy and sometimes catastrophic conditions making sure all the maintenance was done on the plant and some new equipment was installed to make this season run more efficiently. The office also had a long overdue spring clean!

We are now halfway through January and before we know it trucks will be arriving with tonnes of almonds to be processed. Hopefully this year will still be strong despite the lack of rain and high water prices.

Fingers crossed the new year and the new decade bring us rain… but not before harvest is done.
