Laragon is a state of the art Almond Hulling & Shelling facility, located on the outskirts of the Riverland region at Lindsay Point. Laragon is an independent business and can provide services to any almond grower, large or small. Finished product can be forwarded on to the packer/marketer of choice or even be returned back to the grower for self marketing.

Maintenance & new dryer

Maintenance of the processing equipment is almost complete, in time for our new field product dryer from the UK which is due to arrive in December.  It will be all hands on deck to get the dryer installed and commissioned prior to the 2017 processing...

Compost success!

Laragon has completed its second batch of Compost, and we have had good reports from the analysis received from the Environmental Analysis Laboratory. The first turn of the raw material happened back in December last year. Eight turns later and 4 months on, we now have the finished product...

Away we go!

Laragon has turned the key on the huller & sheller and has begun processing some early season nonpareil.  This early product is very dry, yet still processing nicely.  24 hour production will kick in from the 29th of February and we hope to continue the season swiftly with continuing...
