In December 2017 Laragon held a grower meeting at Bickfords 23rd St Distillery. Information was presented about the 2016 processing year and the improvements that were being implemented for 2017. It was a very well attended event and everyone appeared to enjoy themselves.

Maintenance of the processing equipment is almost complete, in time for our new field product dryer from the UK which is due to arrive in December. It will be all hands on deck to get the dryer installed and commissioned prior to the 2017 processing year.

Laragon has turned the key on the huller & sheller and has begun processing some early season nonpareil. This early product is very dry, yet still processing nicely. 24 hour production will kick in from the 29th of February and we hope to continue the season swiftly with continuing good results.
