Laragon has completed its second batch of Compost, and we have had good reports from the analysis received from the Environmental Analysis Laboratory. The first turn of the raw material happened back in December last year. Eight turns later and 4 months on, we now have the finished product ready to go. Half of the 1500 tonnes has already been sold and there is a lot of interest for the remainder of the product. At $30/t plus GST, it is a very cost effective composted mulch type material. Laragon is looking at composting on a regular basis now, so growers will be able to pre plan and order ahead each year.
